The Sr Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Analyst is a strategic role responsible for leading ERP initiatives that align with organizational goals. This position provides advanced functional expertise, oversees complex ERP configurations, and ensures seamless integration across finance, supply chain, HR, and manufacturing processes. The analyst partners with business leaders to optimize workflows, manage system upgrades, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and compliance. Acting as a subject matter expert, this role also mentors junior analysts, drives change management, and ensures ERP systems meet evolving business needs.
Required Functions - Must have expertise in one of the following:
Order-to-Cash: Supports end-to-end customer fulfillment and revenue processes, including: Oracle Fusion ERP (Order Management, Pricing, AR), Blue Yonder WMS. This role focuses on order capture, fulfillment, warehousing, shipping, billing, and customer-facing execution.
Plan-to-Make: Supports manufacturing planning and execution across Oracle Fusion ERP (Manufacturing, Inventory; Siemens Opcenter MES; Spectrum Labeling. This role bridges planning, shop floor execution, quality, and labeling to ensure reliable, scalable manufacturing operations.
Record to Report: Supports enterprise financial close, reporting, and compliance through Oracle Fusion ERP Financials. This role owns financial accounting, period close, reporting, and audit support processes, enabling accurate and timely financial insight.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, (ERP systems experience- SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
ERP Certifications (SAP/Oracle Cloud, or equivalent) preferred
Knowledge and Skills and/or Abilities
This role requires fluency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data concepts, including the ability to critically evaluate AI outputs, improve workflows using approved tools, identify and mitigate bias or inaccuracies, and communicate AI-driven insights clearly and responsibly to peers and managers
Expertise in Oracle Fusion/ERP systems and business process management
Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion/ERP modules and business processes
Experience in Application Management Service Delivery
Functional process analysis and Oracle Cloud configuration, with strong problem-solving skills, end-to-end process knowledge, and hands-on support of application management and service delivery
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence others at various levels
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proven problem-solving skills across a matrix organization
Excellent organizational skills
Highly motivated self-starter
Availability and willingness to travel on company business based on requirements of the role (domestically and internationally)
Requires occasional early morning or evening teleconferences
Works under general office environmental conditions
Sits for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity working with computers, etc.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle ERP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into ERP configurations and functional specifications.
Configure ERP modules (Finance, Procurement, HR, Supply Chain) and validate system changes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize enterprise-wide processes
Manage testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure quality assurance.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolve high-priority ERP issues
Develop and maintain system documentation, including functional designs, process flows, and user guides
Mentor junior team members
Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and ERP best practices
Engage with senior management to align ERP strategies with business objectives
Address day-to-day issues and support business operations based on priorities
Perform impact assessments for ERP upgrades
Coordinate feature/function changes with Sustainment Team
Support users on product questions
Address and facilitate the resolution of product issues
Ability to create functional designs and configuration changes
Facilitate release management and regression testing
Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance
Train users and maintain system documentation
Manage data migration, compliance, and vendor coordination
Generate reports and support decision-making
Analyze business needs and translate them into functional ERP specifications
