Now Hiring: Mid-Level Supervisor Commack, NY | $24.00–$25.00/Hour Phaxis Healthcare is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Supervisor for an exciting opportunity with one of our clients in Commack, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities who is ready to step into a leadership role. Schedule Friday & Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM Sunday & Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM 4-day work week (Off Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) Pay $24.00–$25.00 per hour What You'll Do Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) during assigned shifts Ensure individuals receive quality, person-centered care Assign staff responsibilities and oversee daily operations Monitor staff performance, attendance, and training Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance Assist with scheduling, appointments, recreational activities, and daily programming Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: At least 2 years of experience caring for children or adults with developmental, intellectual, or physical disabilities (Required) A valid driver's license (Required) High School Diploma or GED Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills If you're passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and have the experience to lead a team, we'd love to hear from you!
