Job Description SummaryUnder general supervision, the Resource Analyst III provides resource and financial management expertise to include the budget process, resource metrics, reporting, contract review process, and internal quality assurance controls. The position is responsible for the integrated budget management process that includes MUSC’s three primary entities (University, Hospital Authority, Physician Practice Plan), each with different procurement and financial management processes and requirements. Coaches and transfers knowledge to peers and staff. Maintains high professional standards and exhibits excellent customer service skills.Additional Job DescriptionBachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration, or related field required with five (5) years directly related experience; master’s preferred. Strong business acumen with a focus on finance and budgeting modeling, procedural controls, and techniques required. Healthcare and/or Academic related IT resource management experience strongly preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills, a keen eye for detail, and a high level of discretion are required. An analytical mind with strong critical thinking skills and the desire to probe further into data required. Excellent communication and presentation skills needed. Proficiency with Excel and various budgeting tools/systems required.
