In cloud security at PwC, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and elevating the security posture across our clients' cloud environments, covering IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Your work will involve having a deep technical knowledge of cloud security and you will work with one or more Cloud Service Providers (CSP) to implement security protocols, monitor for potential security breaches, conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing of cloud-based systems, and stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends in cloud technology. Focused on relationships, you are building meaningful client connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others. The Opportunity As part of the Cybersecurity team you will lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies. As a Senior Associate, you will analyze complex problems, mentor junior team members, and build meaningful client relationships while navigating the intricacies of cloud security environments. Responsibilities Analyze intricate issues and provide practical solutions Mentor and guide junior team members in their development Cultivate meaningful relationships with clients to understand their needs Enhance personal knowledge while utilizing advanced technologies Maintain exemplary standards of quality and professionalism What You Must Have Bachelor's Degree At least 3 years of experience What Sets You Apart Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Security, Management Information Systems preferred Demonstrating leadership in cloud security strategy development Designing scalable security processes and governance approaches Configuring and deploying cloud resources in IaC formats Strategizing automated enforcement mechanisms for cloud security Integrating security scanning technologies into CI/CD workflows Providing guidance on secure coding and cloud security practices Exhibiting thorough knowledge of cloud platforms and security features Proficiency in scripting and common programming languages (Git, Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, C#, etc) The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
