Director of Revenue Management
About Our Role: The Director of Revenue Management is accountable for developing and executing pricing, forecasting, and inventory strategies that maximize ADR, occupancy, and RevPAR across assigned properties. The role leads revenue optimization through data analysis, demand forecasting, and system-driven pricing while ensuring alignment across Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and Operations. This position also oversees revenue system configuration and performance across platforms such as SynXis CRS, Duetto, and OPERA PMS, and reports to the General Manager with dotted line to the Vice President of Revenue Management.Essential Functions:Own and execute the hotel's revenue strategy across all segments and channelsManage rate loading, availability, restrictions, and inventory controls across all systemsEnsure compliance with Marriott distribution standards and brand requirements where applicableDevelop pricing, inventory, and restriction strategies to maximize ADR, occupancy, and RevPARMonitor booking pace, demand trends, and competitive positioning to adjust strategy in real timeLead forecasting and demand managementProduce rolling forecasts and support annual budgeting and long-range planning processesAnalyze booking patterns, lead time, and market demand to anticipate opportunities and risksEvaluate production, profitability, and contribution across direct, OTA, GDS, wholesale, and brand channelsPartner with Sales on group pricing, displacement analysis, and inventory allocationMonitor competitive pricing, market demand, and performance benchmarksDrive market intelligence and performance insightsAnalyze production, cost of sale, conversion, and contribution by channeEvaluate, onboard, and optimize new distribution partners and connectivity opportunitiesEnsure accurate configuration of rate codes, packages, restrictions, and inventory controls across all platformsPartner cross-functionally to drive topline performanceCollaborate with Marketing on promotions, packages, and need-period campaignsSupport Operations and Finance with inventory planning, reporting, and revenue performance analysisQualificationsExperience in hotel revenue management within a hotel or hospitality environment (must have)Experience working with major revenue and reservation platforms including Duetto, SynXis CRS, and OPERA PMS (must have)Experience using market intelligence and demand analytics tools such as Demand360 and Lighthouse (hospitality analytics platform) (must have)Experience working with or within the Marriott International ecosystem or similar brand distribution environments (preferred)Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities with the ability to translate data into strategy (must have)Experience managing pricing and inventory across multiple channels and market segments (must have)Experience supporting multi-property or portfolio environments (preferred)
