Job Title: Material Handler I Location: Bloomfield, CT Job Type: Contract | 1st Shift (Onsite) Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST Pay: $19.91 - $22.12/hr Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Job Summary We are hiring a Material Handler I for an onsite opportunity in Bloomfield, CT. This role is ideal for candidates with warehouse or material handling experience who are comfortable moving materials, loading/unloading shipments, maintaining inventory records, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Move materials, freight, and inventory throughout the facility. Load and unload trucks and shipments. Read work orders and follow production instructions. Label and identify containers and materials. Record inventory movements and production information. Sort, organize, and stage materials for production. Pack and re-pack materials as needed. Assemble shipping containers and crates. Operate basic material handling equipment safely. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of warehouse or material handling experience. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Basic computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Excel or similar software. Strong attention to detail.
