This position is part of a team of Subject Matter Experts providing analytic expertise in the area of launch vehicle and missile analyses, satellite technology, UAVs, and C4ISR. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in one of these areas.In this role you will spend the majority of your time working as a SME in one of the program’s technical areas (launch vehicle and missile analyses, satellite technology, UAVs, and/or C4ISR). Additionally, you will:Assist the Program Manager in all program management responsibilities of the contract. Work both within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.Effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the client organization on a daily basis.Utilize your management, critical thinking, initiative, interpersonal skills, and customer organizational knowledge to assist the PM in ensuring the contract is being properly executed and all assigned tasks are being addressed properly.Provide direct supervisory responsibilities over two of the team’s SMEs.Required Security Clearance:Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a PolygraphRequired Experience, Skills, and Education:Active TS/SCI is required, with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience or a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance. Desired Experience, Skills, and Education:Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.Industrial/military experience/expertise in foreign weapon systems.Experience in managing technical teams on a contract with this customer.An advanced degree is preferred.** The posted salary range is based on Leidos job code architecture and does not reflect individual program/contract budgets.
