Event Manager
Civil Clothing Inc. is seeking a detail-obsessed Event Manager to support the planning and execution of our dynamic, brand-forward experiences across a range of live environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings and takes strong ownership of their work, bringing both a strategic awareness and hands-on execution to every project. From large-scale festivals and national tours to retail activations, photo and video productions and custom builds, this individual will play a critical role in bringing our brand to life through thoughtfully executed events.The ideal candidate brings a positive highly resourceful, "figure it out" mindset, anticipating needs, thinking ahead, and stepping in to handle whatever comes up in a live event environment. You are someone who can zoom out to understand the bigger picture, while still managing the finer details that ensure each event runs smoothly.This position requires a strong understanding of the full event lifecycle, from ideation through execution and post-event wrap, paired with the ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure or rapidly changing environments.You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment, clear communication, and seamless execution at every stage. vendors, or ensuring every detail is executed at a high level.What You'll DoEvent Strategy & ExecutionSupport the planning and execution of events across a range of formats, including festivals, pop-ups, retail activations, photoshoots, and brand experiencesAssist in developing event plans and timelines that align with brand goals, campaign objectives, and key momentsEnsure all event details are organized, accurate, and aligned with overall execution plansContribute to bringing the brand to life through thoughtful, well-executed experiencesEvent Operations & LogisticsCoordinate event logistics including venue sourcing, site visits, permitting, and compliance requirementsSupport on-site execution including load-in/load-out, A/V coordination, merchandising, staffing, and overall event flowManage travel logistics for events, including accommodations, transportation, and team coordinationEnsure all operational details are accounted for and executed smoothlyVendor & Partner ManagementSupport sourcing, coordination, and communication with vendors and external partnersAssist in managing vendor timelines, deliverables, and on-site executionHelp ensure all partners are aligned with event expectations, timelines, and brand standardsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Marketing, Creative, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure alignment across all event initiativesAct as a central point of coordination to keep communication clear, organized, and up to dateSupport alignment across teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and eventsEvent Experience & Brand ExecutionContribute to the development and execution of attendee experiences that reflect the brand and create meaningful engagementSupport the execution of brand standards across all event touchpoints, including visual presentation and customer interactionAssist in ensuring consistency across messaging, setup, and overall event experienceEvent Coordination & CommunicationPrepare and distribute key event materials, including run-of-show documents, schedules, and logistics briefsMaintain organized tracking of event details, timelines, and deliverablesSupport event promotion efforts across social, email, and on-site channelsOperational ExcellenceMaintain strong organization across multiple events, timelines, and prioritiesDemonstrate support events from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, details, and deliverables are alignedComfortable managing multiple events, vendors, and moving parts in a fast-paced, live environmentMaintains accuracy and attention to detail across all event logistics and executionTechnical & Organizational ToolsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar)Experience managing calendars, schedules, and timelines across multiple projects and stakeholdersComfortable using tools such as Asana or similar platforms for task management and project trackingFamiliarity with DocuSign or similar tools for contracts, agreements, and documentationAbility to maintain organized trackers, run-of-show documents, environmentExposure to vendor coordination, permitting, insurance, and event documentation preferredStrong connection to streetwear, fitness, and culture-driven brands, with interest or experience in music, video production, and large-scale festival or live event production, is strongly preferredPhysical & Mental DemandsThis role includes a combination of office-based work and on-site event
