We produce pressure-sensitive materials used in everyday items like labels, packaging, medical devices, displays, and more.Location: Spinnaker, a Mactac Company - Troy, OHSummarySupports Coating, Finishing, and/or Shipping/Receiving Departments by operating sit-down and stand-up forklift trucks and pallet jacks to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products or materials by performing the following duties.Pay: Starts at $21.42/hr + shift differentialAvailable Shifts2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm3rd Shift: 10:00 pm - 6:00 amEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesFollow all Forklift Safety Practices while operating liftReading work orders to determine appropriate material required for delivery to machinesOperate forklift to deliver material and returns and log unused material to storageStore and log completed material on racks in hanging stock area after it is manufactured by finishing or coating departmentScan all rolls for movement from location to locationPerform inventory transactions on computer systemPerform safety/maintenance check of forklift prior to first use each shiftVerify that material is not damaged prior to transporting to and from storage areasReport damage to supervisorPackage cut finished rolls for shipment to customer or stockPrepare packaging materials as needed for daily converting requirements; includes cores, boxes and palletsMaintain an orderly, neat and safe work areaRemoval of waste from production areasEffectively and efficiently coordinate Receiving and Shipping of materialsPerform any other activity as required by ManagementCompetencies, Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesCertified to operate sit-down, stand-up forklifts and pallet jacksManages time efficientlyAbility to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected eventsInitiative to ask for and offer help when neededGenerate suggestions for improving workAbility to use hand tools such as hammer, tin snips, crowbar, and utility knife safelyPhysical demands include regularly required to sit, stand and walkFrequently required to; Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch.
