Job DetailsDescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned.Regular and consistent attendanceShow Passion and Commitment by preparing menu items accurately and promptly when ordered through point-of-sale system.Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.Always Adhere to Food Handlers Safety guidelines including by not limited to the following: Keep all food items within safe temperatures, label all food correctly with dates, always avoiding cross contamination by washing hands and using correct tools and surfaces.Uses FIFO system to keep food fresh and eliminate waste.Be of service and accommodate special requests whenever possible, with management approval, to create a positive and tailored experience for each guest.Remain knowledgeable on all food menu items, including specials and promotionsEnsure that all food menu items are consistently prepared and served per REG’s recipes, portioning, and serving standardsKeep updated on recipe changesMeasure and assemble ingredients for menu itemsCollaborate with the managers, cooks and servers to prepare meals timely.Plate food according to proper proceduresMaintain accurate food inventories and update management on levels.Properly store food items at appropriate temperaturesRestock kitchen for subsequent shiftsEnsure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shiftFollow all opening, mid and closing procedures.Maintains a "clean as you go" approach throughout shiftLabels, dates and signs all products per requiredCook a variety of foods appropriately to maintain proper flavor and appearance Responsible for completion of daily kitchen logs (cooling & reheating, food temperatures, refrigerator/freezer temperatures and sanitizer solution)Comply with all food safety rules, laws, protocols, and standards.Adhere and maintain all Health Department rules and regulationsKnowledge of proper operation and cleaning of all related equipmentProper use of all storeroomsReport and maintain inventoryProper use of all cleaning materials per SDSKnowledge of all opening, closing and in between show proceduresKnowledge of all emergency, evacuation, and robbery proceduresEnsuring guest satisfaction – smile, greet, and thank all guestsMust take prompt, appropriate action to turn dissatisfied guests into repeat guestsRespond personally to guest questions and complaintsMust be knowledgeable of correct popper operation and emergency proceduresKnowledge and compliance of dress codeMaintain excellent personal hygiene, including nails and proper hair hygiene.No jewelry except a wedding band on while working.Abide by all federal and state laws with regards to breaks and/or meal periodsEnsure lost and found items are handled in accordance with REG policyMust be SDS trainedObtain food handlers card where applicable.Must report any and all damages or maintenance issues to managementMust report any and all suspicious activity, persons, or items to management immediatelyAttend and participate in trainings and meetings.Pay Scale Information: [ENTER HOURLY RATE HERE]Benefits: Our team receives the perk of enjoying free movie passes and discounted concessions at any Regal location. Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures. Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as a concessionist or progress towards completion required. Completed any legally required state or local training and obtain the required certificate. Completed the Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University. ServeSafe Certification preferred.Must be 18 years of age.Must have at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience, culinary training preferred. Experience should include dishwashing, prep/cook, and expediating experience.Flexible working hours including holidays and weekendsLanguage AbilityPossess good public speaking, listen effectively, and respond clearly and directly.Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus.Math AbilityPerform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.Reasoning AbilityIdentify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems.
