The company partners with utilities, industrial customers, and government stakeholders to deploy reliable, low carbon energy solutions.Role OverviewThis role supports commercial and project development activities for large-scale energy infrastructure opportunities. Responsibilities include evaluating markets, customers, and project opportunities, while contributing to the structuring of complex, capital-intensive energy projects. The position also supports financial modeling, commercial strategy, and cross-functional coordination across development, engineering, and finance teams.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport sourcing and evaluation of potential project development opportunities by collecting and reviewing relevant informationPerform market and competitor assessments within the energy sector by compiling data, synthesizing insights, and drafting concise summariesCollaborate cross-functionally to advance key priorities of the business development functionContribute to the design and optimization of commercial and project structuring strategiesCreate and update project financial models and assist in developing supporting analyses for client-facing and internal initiativesGenerate forecasts across regions and target markets and deployment regions using research data, historical performance, and industry trendsProvide research assistance to senior staff and help produce and refine team-facing collateral and materialsPartner with finance, cost analysis, engineering, and licensing teams to validate assumptions and inputs used in financial evaluationsDevelop executive-ready materials, including presentations, financial insights, and projections, for leadership reviewAssist senior team members in preparing for leadership meetings by delivering updated data, visuals, and supporting analysisDemonstrate professionalism and strong communication standards across all interactionsComplete additional responsibilities as directed by managementQualificationsUndergraduate degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or a similar disciplineAt least two to four years of applicable professional experienceDemonstrated experience developing or managing financial models and contributing to materials presented to senior leadershipExposure to large-scale energy projects, project finance, or infrastructure development is highly valuedExcellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for translating complex financial concepts into clear insights for non-technical audiencesStrong capabilities in analytical work, projections, and scenario evaluation, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailLegally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
