Summary:
The Material Handler III assists the production process by ensuring that materials are delivered to the assembly line in an organized fashion. They assist with receiving orders and contribute to maintaining raw goods inventory counts and are responsible for supporting the logistics in coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts on a regular, on-going basis to ensure inventory accuracy
Locate and pull materials and supplies for production orders, perform advanced kitting assignments to meet production schedules
Supply production area with WIP and raw materials
Receive all incoming material deliveries and inputs location of material into inventory system, manage the inventory databases
Maintain supplies, tools, material parts, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
Communicate shortages to stakeholders, audit and prep kits for release to production
Investigate count discrepancies between ERP database and physical inventory to correct errors, and identify root cause and provide solutions to reduce loss or waste
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility.
High School Diploma or GED
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.50 hourly. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
