Our client is a privately owned investment management firm. They seek an Alternative Investor Services Associate/AVP to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesOversee and test policies for processing, call centers, and compliance; monitor blue sky registrations and manage market timing reviewsSupport TA enhancements and system applications across all product typesManage operational changes with TA and distribution partners, ensuring updates and corporate actions and Mutual Fund Information Exchange meet strict effective datesCoordinate the delivery of periodic distributions, annual capital gains, and dividendsManage the production and mailing of shareholder prospectuses and annual reportsAct as a resource for Retail, Institutional, and Retirement teams regarding prospectus eligibility, onboarding, and platform distribution queriesMaintain account applications and investor materials; update internal process workflows and procedure manualsTrack projects using tools like Monday.com to ensure the team meets critical deadlinesConsolidate and disseminate large trade notices to portfolio managersAssist with ICI standardized reporting and tax output reviews; prepare Board of Directors materials; handle audit requests, invoice processing, and recurring monthly/quarterly reportingRequirementsUndergraduate degree in Finance, Business, or related field2-6 years of relevant experience within asset management or financial servicesMust have mutual fund experience (Interval funds, BDCs, ETFs, and Irish investment funds (ICAV))Proven ability to lead transformation efforts, build new processes from scratch, and optimize existing workflowsExceptional writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build confidence with internal stakeholders and external counterpartiesMeticulous attention to detailKnowledge of Transfer Agency applications, specifically SS&C, is preferredExperience navigating wirehouses, IBDs, RIAs, and technology platforms such as iCapital, CAIS, or SubscribeSeries 6 and 63 are preferred but not requiredJobID: 47950
