What You'll Do
Responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe work environment for all employees & customers
Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
Maintain the overall appearance of the facility
Must collaborate with management to ensure successful accomplishments of warehouse and production
Working with dispatcher to build loads to ensure cost effective logistics to branches and customers
Maintain inventory through prevention of loss due to fraud, quality, and counting; including loss of product not being cycled/expired
Lead all inventory management efforts, including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes
Coordinate and supervise material receiving, documentation, storage, inventory control, disbursement and off-site shipping activities
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization
What You'll Need
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred
3-5 years of management experience, preferably in construction services, logistics, or manufacturing.
Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment
Entrepreneurial attitude and exceptional leadership skills to include team building skills by setting high standards for self and others
Clearly communicate expectations, issues and feedback
Customer service focused and collaborative as appropriate with internal and external customers
Must have an ability to ensure the safety of both the individual and customers is protected at all times
Must be able to multi-task and handle stress in highly productive environment while problem solve in all areas of the Warehouse
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions
Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Proficient in Kronos or other workforce management/timekeeping software
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
Your Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred is a plus.
