Tailman

Overview We are seeking an experienced and reliable Tailman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will support heavy equipment operators and assist with various construction tasks on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy machinery, construction processes, and safety protocols to ensure efficient project completion and adherence to industry standards. Prior experience in construction site operations, concrete finishing, and utility locating is highly valued. Duties Install and assemble underground sewer, water, reuse, force main, and storm drainpipe. Assist others with lifting and setting heavy objects Measure and mark pipe for cutting. Communicate effectively with Pipe Foreman and crew members. Clean and prepare jobsites by gathering and organizing tools or equipment and disposing of trash. Familiar with the safe use of hand tools such as hammers, saws, screwdrivers, drills, rakes, and shovels May perform functions of a Laborer as required Requirements Work is performed outside in varying types of environmental conditions. The requirements of this position involve extended periods of strenuous physical activity under various field and weather conditions. Applicant must be able to lift 75lbs., carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull. Must have 6 months experience as a Tailman. Must be punctual and have reliable transportation to job sites.
