Licensed Veterinary Technician

Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures by preparing equipment and monitoring patient status Perform animal restraint and handling using humane techniques to ensure safety for animals and staff Conduct laboratory tests, prepare samples, and interpret results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain accurate medical records, including vaccination histories, treatment plans, and procedural documentation Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments following veterinary instructions with precision and care Take diagnostic radiographs (X-ray) ensuring proper positioning and aseptic technique for high-quality imaging results Assist with dental procedures by understanding dental terminology and performing pet dental cleanings under supervision Handle diverse animals including dogs, cats, and small mammals with confidence in animal husbandry practices Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Experience Previous veterinary technician experience or related animal care background is highly preferred Familiarity with veterinary critical care procedures for emergency situations Laboratory experience including sample collection, processing, and analysis Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and pet care best practices Strong understanding of animal anatomy to assist with diagnostics and treatments effectively Join us to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to providing outstanding veterinary care.
