Overview Lockheed Martin's Rotary & Mission Systems seeks a full-time Software Engineer for Security & Platform Services who will play a key role in Mission Integrated Command & Control (MIC2) programs. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and integrating software across a spectrum of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and cyber solutions. The engineer will work with commercial off-the-shelf and government off-the-shelf components to build complete solutions and travel to Lockheed Martin and customer sites as needed.
Responsibilities Support multiple MIC2 Line of Business (LOB) programs
Design, code, test, and integrate software for PaaS and cyber solutions
Develop new applications and integrate COTS and GOTS software into full solutions
Travel between Lockheed Martin sites and customer sites
Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Sciences, or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years' experience in full software development life-cycle tasks
Proficient in high-order programming languages such as Java and/or C++
Experience in software design and deployment on Linux platforms
Ability to modify existing software to integrate with larger systems
Experience with system and software testing and troubleshooting software anomalies
Flexibility to support off-hour test events and occasional travel
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills Agile development framework and tools, such as JIRA
DevSecOps tools and platforms, such as GitLab
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and automated testing technologies, e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, Robot
Configuration management and repository tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or Artifactory
Containerized application deployment, scaling, and management using Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker, or Podman
Cybersecurity capabilities development and system hardening
SysML/UML design
Security Clearance This position requires a U.S. DoD security clearance at the Secret level and U.S. citizenship.

The salary range in New Jersey is $91,000 – $172,488, subject to local agreements.
