The start date is ASAP for this permanent position.Job Title: Lead Analytics and AI EngineerLocation-Type: Remote (EST hours; optional access to NYC office)Start Date Is: ASAPDuration: PermanentCompensation Range: $130,000 - $150,000 base salary + bonusBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTONot eligible for visa sponsorshipJob Description:Lead the design and delivery of analytics and AI solutions by turning business needs into scalable data pipelines, models, and production-ready technical solutions.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate problems into AI and analytics solutionsDesign and build scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data platform componentsWrite hands-on code in Python and SQL to develop pipelines, models, and supporting solutionsBuild and optimize solutions in Databricks for analytics, reporting, and AI use casesCreate documentation and technical requirements for offshore development teamsGuide offshore execution and ensure solutions are delivered accurately and efficientlyImprove data quality, performance, monitoring, and reliability across pipelines and platformsSupport analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and AI initiatives with scalable data architectureRequirements:Must-Haves:6-10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related rolesStrong hands-on Python and SQL skillsExperience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflowsStrong background in data engineering, data pipelines, and data warehousingDatabricks experienceExperience designing and delivering data and AI solutionsAbility to translate business needs into technical solutionsStrong communication skills and comfort in a client-facing environmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fieldNice-to-Haves:AWS experienceExperience with AI/ML tools or AI solution developmentExperience with workflow orchestration tools such as AirflowExperience with API-based ingestion and modern cloud data platformsExperience supporting near real-time analytics or reporting environments
