This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction.A Matre d' for Sushi by Bou oversees the daily front-of-house operations for Sushi by Bou, ensuring a seamless, elevated, and guest-focused dining experience. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests, managing reservations, pacing of service, and overall dining room flow while upholding the highest standards of hospitality.Required Skills and AbilitiesMust have the ability to communicate in EnglishSelf-starting personality with an even dispositionMaintain a professional appearance and manner at all timesCan communicate well with guestsMust be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting including working evenings, weekends and holiday availabilityAbility to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, prolonged standing and walking or otherwise, move or push goods on a cart weighing a maximum of 100 lbs., at a continuous scheduleAbility to transport large trays weighing up to 50lbs.ExperiencePrevious experience required including cash handling and customer serviceExperience in hospitality a plusLicenses or CertificatesAbility to obtain both Maricopa Health Card (Food Handlers Card) and Alcohol Certificate - requiredPerformance StandardsCustomer Satisfaction:Work Habits:Safety & Security:Note:This description excludes non-essential and marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of the fundamental job duties.
