Junior Planner
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Objective
Assist Master Scheduler and Materials Manager in maintaining an executable schedule through collaboration with Production Supervisors, Quality Team, Sales Team and suppliers.
Principal Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring supplier deliveries and maintaining updated expected dates from suppliers.
Collaborate with suppliers to provide information to the Quality and Receiving departments pertaining to traceability to customer requirements.
Assist with monitoring product in process ensuring accurate communication of priority through the factory from start to finish goods.
Ensures the latest drawing revisions are being used in process and at suppliers.
Assist with maintaining the Master Schedule.
Posting production schedule as indicated by the Master Schedule.
General cleanup of planned work orders and Purchase Orders as directed by supervisor.
Perform system transactions as needed.
Qualifications
One (1) year of experience in purchasing and inventory control in a manufacturing environment or any combination of experience, education and training which would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.
High School diploma or G.E.D. required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Computer skills –Microsoft Outlook and Excel. AS400 experience a plus.

Communicate effectively and accurately, orally and in writing
Flexibility to alter tasks
Ability to prioritize in a consistently changing production environment
