Bartender

Parklife is a unique and seasonally driven restaurant with cozy indoor dining areas and a vast outdoor space for the warmer months. We are located at 636 Degraw St in Brooklyn near Barclays Center. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is looking for another gig to supplement their existing income and enjoys being in the hospitality industry. You must have at least 2 years of experience as a cocktail bartender. All drinks are jiggered for consistency. You are expected to maintain a tidy station and perform all the duties required for a bartender. You will also be part of a small team which means you are expected to chip in as needed including but not limited to washing glasses, bussing, taking food and drink orders, running food and drinks, seating guests, organizing and cleaning your station, and helping to set up and strike down events. If you only want to bartend and do nothing else, this is not the work environment for you. Currently we are looking to fill our Wednesday and Saturday opening slot. Potential bartending shifts may become available at our sister venue, littlefield. Hiring preference will be given to those who have the NYC Food Handler's permit. Hourly pay is $12 plus tips so your minimum hourly pay $15 with potential of making upwards of $45 hourly. Shifts are approximately 6 to 8 hours.
