School Bus Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to manage passenger behavior, and a commitment to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all riders. Responsibilities: - Safely operate a bus or other passenger vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and company policies - Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations - Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior - Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus - Collect fares or tickets and provide accurate change when necessary - Ensure the safety of passengers by following established procedures for loading, unloading, and securing mobility devices - Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and fares - Handle difficult or disruptive passengers with professionalism and adherence to company policies - Adhere to all safety regulations and perform routine vehicle inspections Skills: - School bus driving experience preferred - Ability to manage passenger behavior in a calm and professional manner - Excellent customer service skills - Experience working with senior citizens or individuals with special needs is a plus - Multilingual abilities are beneficial for communicating with diverse passengers - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with school buss and passenger endorsement - Ability to educate passengers on safety procedures and emergency protocols - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written As a Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe transportation for our passengers.
