HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated Hardware Validation Engineer to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.Job Title: Hardware Validation EngineerJob REQ ID: 111699Position Type: Full Time Location : Fremont CA(Onsite)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute validation plans for power delivery systems (PDS) across hardware platformsPerform power validation including voltage regulation, current measurement, load testing, and efficiency analysisValidate DC-DC converters, VRMs, PMICs, and power sequencing across multiple railsConduct power integrity (PI) analysis including ripple, noise, transient response, and droop measurementsPerform stress testing, corner testing (voltage, temperature, frequency), and power margin validationAnalyze inrush current, leakage currents, and power-on/power-off sequencing behaviorDebug power-related issues using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes (high-bandwidth), current probes, power analyzers, and DAQsValidate low-power modes and power management features (sleep states, dynamic voltage scaling, etc).Collaborate with design, layout, SI/PI, and firmware teams to resolve power-related issuesRequired SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field3–8 years of experience in hardware validation with strong focus on power validationHands-on experience with power electronics and power delivery systemsStrong understanding of VRMs, PMICs, DC-DC converters, LDOs, and power architecturesExperience measuring power parameters (voltage, current, noise, efficiency, ripple)Expertise in lab instrumentsOscilloscopes with current probesElectronic loadsPower analyzersMultimeters and DAQs Knowledge of power sequencing and multi-rail system dependencies Familiarity with board schematics, layout, and power tree architectureExperience with scripting (Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW) for automationPay and BenefitsPay Range Minimum: $88000/annumPay Range Maximum: $134000/annumHCLTech is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
