Job Title: Maintenance Technician II - 3rd ShiftJob Location: Chantilly, VA- 20151Duration: 3+ months of Contract with possible extensionShift: Mon-Fri (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) ESTNote: Should be flexible for on-call for 24/7 emergency coverage in the buildingJob Summary:Responsible for keeping the facility in safe, working condition by performing general maintenance, repairs, and equipment upkeep.Key Responsibilities:Perform basic electrical repairs and assist with installing equipmentHandle minor plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, installing fixtures, and clearing drainsCarry out carpentry work including repairs to doors, floors, walls, and furnitureUse hand and power tools safely and maintain them in good conditionAssist with basic HVAC (air conditioning) maintenance and repairsFollow up on maintenance and quality issues to ensure timely resolutionSupport other maintenance tasks as assignedRequirements:5+ years of experience in general building maintenanceBasic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systemsAbility to safely use maintenance tools and equipmentComfortable working independently with minimal supervisionAble to follow written and verbal instructionsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsMust be able to lift:Frequently: up to 10 lbsOccasionally: up to 25 lbsRarely: up to 50 lbs (assistance required for heavier items)
