This position is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work in accordance with industry, customer, and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform welding and fabrication operations in accordance with AWS standards and company proceduresRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsInspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specificationsOperate welding, fabrication, and related shop equipment safely and efficientlySupport production, repair, and custom fabrication projects as neededMaintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety and quality requirementsCollaborate with production, quality, and inspection teams to meet customer and project deadlinesPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsCurrent AWS welding certification requiredPrevious welding experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environment preferredAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipMechatronics experience or machining skills are a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a team
