Substitute TeacherPosition OverviewSubstitute teachers at Valor play a vital role in performing the duties of regular teachers when they are absent. Substitutes are required to assist in a wide range of different capacities, including during teacher prep time, as assigned by the Substitute Coordinator.A full day of substitute teaching begins at 7:20 a.m. and ends at the conclusion of the teacher's duties for the day (3:10 p.m. or 3:30 p.m.). The daily rate is $115 with $150 for a long-term substitute position. The pay for working 1⁄2 day is half of the daily rate.
