Position Type: Student Support Services/Occupational Therapy Assistant Date Posted: 5/14/2026 Location: District Services Program Date Available: 07/07/2026 Closing Date: 06/19/2026 READS Collaborative is seeking an occupational therapist/occupational therapy assistant to provide direct OT services to elementary, middle, and high school students in a local school district for the extended school year (ESY). ESY program runs from July 7th through August 6th. Flexible hours and competitive pay in a supportive environment. The following outline of the role and responsibilities is intended to provide a broad overview, but is subject to change according to the needs of the school district, as required by the Superintendent of Schools. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students • Adapt instructional techniques to the age and skill levels of students. • Maintain thorough student records to document attendance, participation, and progress, ensuring confidentiality of all records. • Use data to write students' progress notes for students with IEPs • Prepare lesson plans in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) and the functional abilities or needs of students. • Establish and maintain standards of behavior to create safe, orderly, and effective environments for learning.
