Come join our team!Zantech is looking for a talented Technical Business Analyst – Alternate Program Manager (APM) to contribute to the success of our upcoming Information Technology Support Services project for a Remote role, with a 5% to 20% Travel requirement.The Business Analyst – will be primarily responsible for full technical business analysis duties as the primary function while also serving as the designated Alternate Program Manager (APM). In the PM's absence, APM duties become the priority.SummaryThis is a dual-role position. The primary day-to-day function is Business Analyst – Technical, providing remote business analysis support within the DABAL framework across the 88th RD Area of Operations. This individual is also designated as the Alternate Program Manager (APM), possessing the full qualifications required of the PM and stepping into that role with full authority during the PM's absence.Responsibilities Include, But Will Not Be Limited ToBusiness Analyst (Primary Daily Role):Conduct remote stakeholder interviews and requirements elicitation sessionsAnalyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirementsDevelop business cases and propose process improvement solutionsCreate data analysis reports and present findings to technical and non-technical audiencesSupport system implementation and business transformation initiatives across the 88th RD AOAlternate Program Manager (When PM is Absent):Assume full PM authority and responsibilities — authorized to bind the ContractorServe as primary contractor point of contact for Government COR and KOManage on-site and remote personnel across the 88th RD AOEnsure continuity of contract deliverables, reporting, and complianceRequired Experience Or Knowledge Of The Following Technologies/functionsBusiness Analyst function:2-3 years of relevant business analysis experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.APM function (required):Minimum 5 years of documented experience directing or managing multi-functional Army Reserve organizations OR equivalent private sector IT management experience.Minimum 2 years of documented financial management experience.Business Analyst Skills:Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and best practicesExperience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)Experience with process modeling and workflow toolsProven ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets; elicit and document business requirementsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed teamsAPM Skills:IT management, contract management, and building systems familiarityAbility to operate independently and make timely decisions managing a contract and geographically dispersed locationsAbility to analyze organizational/operational problems and develop timely, economical solutionsHighly skilled in verbal and written communications for professional meetings, plans, and memorandums of instructionDemonstrated financial management capability (minimum 2 years documented)Required EducationBusiness Analyst function:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant equivalent experience may be substituted for a degreeAPM function:No specific degree requirement.Qualifications are experience-based.Required: 5-year management threshold andRequired 2-year financial management experience.Preferred Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.Prior military service or Army Reserve experience a significant advantage for the APM function.Required CertificationsDoD Cyber Awareness Training (required prior to network access and annually thereafter; IAW DoDD 8140.01/DoDM 8140.03/AR 25-2)AT Level I Awareness Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)iWATCH Army Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)ATCTS (Army Training Certification Tracking System) registration requiredPreferred Certifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent program management certificationCertified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBADoD 8140/8570 compliant certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CAP)Required Security ClearanceUS Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a NACI or higher clearance, per contract requirements.Other RequirementsRequired training includes DoD Cyber Awareness, AT Level I, iWATCH, and ATCTS registration.Travel requirements vary (5–25%) annually“Outstanding Performance…Always!”Our corporate motto represents our commitment to build long-term relationships with both our clients and our employees by providing the highest quality service in everything we do.
