Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Dispensing Optician with locations in Largo and Camp Springs, MD. The Dispensing Optician will assist patients in selecting and fitting eyewear, interpret prescriptions provided by optometrists, and verify lens specifications. Additional responsibilities include providing consultations on optical products, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dispensing area. The role also involves maintaining accurate records and assisting with eyeglass repairs and adjustments. Qualifications Knowledge of Optics and experience in using optical tools and equipmentProficiency in Customer Service and dedication to achieving Customer SatisfactionBasic understanding of Optometry and the ability to interpret eye prescriptionsFamiliarity with Eye Exams and supporting patients throughout the processStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail with the ability to work in a team-oriented environmentExperience in a similar role within an optical or healthcare setting is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are beneficial
