Microsoft Power Platform Developer

Position OverviewClient is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain business solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft Power Platform technologies.The developer will create scalable applications, automated workflows, and integrated solutions that improve productivity and operational efficiency for users and customers.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365, along with experience integrating Power Platform solutions with external APIs, databases, and third-party systems.Candidates should also understand Power Platform governance, security, environment management, application lifecycle management (ALM), solution deployment, and Azure DevOps.This is a development-focused position, not a Power Platform Administration role.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions.• Build applications using Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate across Microsoft 365 and external systems.• Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Teams, APIs, databases, and third-party systems.• Deploy solutions across Power Platform environments, including development and production.• Support application maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancements, and routine updates.• Perform assigned development and configuration work according to project requirements and timelines.• Troubleshoot complex integration, workflow, and application issues.• Follow Power Platform security, governance, environment management, and ALM best practices.• Utilize Azure DevOps and established deployment processes where applicable.• Meet with customers to gather requirements, answer technical questions, and ensure delivered solutions operate effectively.• Communicate project progress, blockers, and technical findings to management and team members.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration, knowledge transfer, and handoffs.• Maintain accurate technical documentation for changes, fixes, enhancements, and deployments.Required Skills & ExperienceSkill Requirement ExperienceHands-on Microsoft Power Platform Development, including solution deployment Required 3+ yearsMicrosoft Power Automate – workflow development and system integration Required 6+ yearsMicrosoft Power Apps Required 4+ yearsSharePoint Required 3+ yearsMicrosoft 365 Required 5+ yearsPreferred Qualifications• Experience with both Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.• Experience creating custom connectors and integrating external APIs.• Experience with databases and third-party system integrations.• Experience with Power Platform governance and security.• Experience with environment management and ALM.• Experience deploying solutions across development, test, and production environments.• Experience with Azure DevOps.• Microsoft Power Platform certifications, including PL-900, are preferred.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a hands-on Power Platform Developer rather than an administrator, with strong experience building Power Apps, developing Power Automate workflows, integrating Microsoft 365 services, and deploying solutions across Power Platform environments.
