Northern Light Mayo Hospital is seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician to join our hospital-employedRHC practice in beautiful Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.This practice currently consists of a team of three physicians and five NPs/PAs, as wellas a caring,experienced support staff.In this role, you will provide our patients with the true Family Medicine experience in a rewarding environment.About the Opportunity:-Well-established practice in a rural community; will provide the opportunity to quickly build a patient panel and develop meaningful patient/practitionerrelationships-Provide comprehensive, compassionate care for patients of all ageswith a strong focus on chronic disease management and the ability to see acute patients in the practice-Obstetrical practice is optional but preferred - if you do not wishto practice OB, we ask that you assist with on-call coverage for Pediatrics (mainly via telephone)Located in the scenic Maine highlands region,Northern Light Mayo Hospitalprovides advanced medical services to more than 26,000 residents in Piscataquis and adjacent Penobscot and Somerset counties.
