Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and inventory oversightLead EH&S programs including chemical hygiene, biosafety, hazardous waste, and emergency responseEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and laboratory safety regulationsConduct safety audits, risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigationsMaintain SDS records, compliance documentation, and training programsCoordinate preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipmentDeliver safety training and partner cross-functionally to support operational readinessQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field3–7 years of laboratory experience, including 2+ years in EH&S or laboratory safety leadershipStrong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, biosafety, and hazardous waste regulationsExperience in biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated laboratory environments preferredExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsCertifications such as CSP, CHMM, or CCHO are a plus
