Regional Security & Asset Protection Manager

The Security Manager & Asset Protection Manager is a key leader responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Jushi’s enterprise security and asset protection programs across assigned retail, cultivation, and manufacturing facilities. This role safeguards people, products, and property through proactive risk management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.The Security Manager & Asset Protection Manager drives strategic initiatives that strengthen Jushi’s security posture, reduce losses, and support long-term business growth. This includes oversight of contract guard services, investigations, technology systems, and budget performance while building a culture of prevention, accountability, and service excellence.What You Will DoLead and manage all physical security and asset protection operations within assigned state(s)Develop and execute strategies to reduce shrink, deter theft, and protect high-value inventory across the supply chainConduct routine loss trend analysis and partner with Retail Operations and Finance to identify root causes and corrective actionsDrive field-based loss prevention programs that reinforce compliance, service, and team engagementEnsure compliance with all state cannabis security regulations and Jushi policies related to surveillance, access control, and product movementLead investigations into theft, diversion, workplace misconduct, or policy violations, maintaining strict confidentialityConduct professional interviews and fact-finding sessions using proven investigative techniques and empathy-based approachesDocument investigative steps, evidence, and outcomes accurately in Jushi’s incident reporting systemPartner with Human Resources and Compliance to ensure investigations align with company policy and employment lawLiaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies on active investigations when necessaryCollaborate with the SVP of Security Operations and the Director of Security to define and execute short- and long-term security initiatives that align with enterprise goalsParticipate in the development of enterprise security standards, training programs, and performance dashboardsEvaluate and recommend emerging technologies, data tools, and vendors to improve security visibility and efficiencyDevelop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and communicate department impact to executive leadershipOversee contracted guard services and off-duty police coverage, ensuring professionalism, adherence to SOPs, and alignment with Jushi cultureConduct routine site visits, post inspections, and performance evaluations; deliver feedback and corrective coaching as neededEnsure vendor compliance with licensing, badging, insurance, and post-order requirementsPartner with Procurement and Finance to negotiate service contracts and evaluate vendor performance metricsForecast and track expenses related to guard service, technology, investigations, and repairsIdentify opportunities to optimize costs through efficiency improvements, technology investments, or vendor restructuringConduct audits to validate compliance with regulatory and internal security standardsEnsure surveillance systems, alarms, and access control devices meet state and company operational requirementsLead or support training on robbery response, de-escalation, theft prevention, and emergency proceduresMaintain documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews in accordance with company retention policiesPartner with Retail, Compliance, Facilities, and Operations leaders to develop integrated risk mitigation strategiesParticipate in new store openings, remodels, and relocations to ensure security readiness and complianceModel Jushi’s values of service, accountability, and integrity while promoting a proactive, team-based safety cultureSupport leadership development through coaching, recognition, and consistent communicationWhat We Are Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or Business Administration preferred (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in security management, asset protection, or asset protection (multi-site or regional preferred)Cannabis, retail, or highly regulated industry experience strongly preferredProven success managing guard programs, investigations, and budget oversightExpertise in physical security systems, access control, and surveillance platformsStrong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to conduct effective interviewsKnowledge of loss prevention metrics, financial analysis, and shrink reduction strategiesExceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilitiesProficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and reporting toolsAdditional RequirementsMust possess or be eligible to obtain all required state cannabis licenses and badgingValid driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredAbility to travel up to 50% to assigned sitesFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictateWhat We Have To Offer Our Employees At JushiWe offer benefit packages that may include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short, and Long-Term Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k).BONUS DUTIES YOU SHOULD UNDERSTANDPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
