Material Handler I

While working as a Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Associate for Adecco at our local customer in LaPorte, IN, you will earn $19.64/hour and receive a weekly paycheck. This is a contract-only opportunity that will allow you to enhance your career while gaining manufacturing, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations experience.Primary responsibilities include:Receive inbound/outplant materials from vendors, including unloading trucks, dock operations, and material handlingPerform shipping and packaging activities, including marking castings (dot peen, Vibropeen, stencil) and packing parts for customer shipmentConduct inventory control tasks, including cycle counts, maintaining finished goods inventory, and distribution to production areasSupport quality inspection and documentation, ensuring accuracy of heat codes, serial numbers, and paperwork using basic computer systemsPerks:Pay starting at $19.64 per hour, plus overtime as needed.Weekly paycheckManufacturing and warehouse environment with hands-on operational experienceOpportunity to work in a fast-paced production and logistics settingExposure to forklift operations, shipping/receiving systems, and inventory control processesQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredAbility to operate or obtain certification for forklift / fork truck operationExperience or ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environmentBasic skills in math, computer usage, and data entry (typing, documentation accuracy)This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.
