Lead Electrophysics Engineer
Overview
As Lead Electrophysics Engineer, you will own RF payload performance across programs, guiding system-level integration and technical interfaces within SEIT teams. You’ll lead radar-related analysis, risk/feasibility assessments, and payload effectiveness studies, shaping concepts of operations and roadmaps. Your work will span experimental to operational systems, influencing design choices and cross-organizational collaboration. This role offers impact on high-stakes defense payloads and advancement of RF/Radar capabilities at Boeing.

ResponsibilitiesPerform radar performance and architecture trade studiesDevelop and implement radar signal/image processing techniquesEngineer integration of Radar Warning Receivers (RWR) into systemsCreate Concepts of Operations for RF productsConduct Mission Design and payload effectiveness analysesLead technical teams including subcontractors for hardware and algorithmsSupport test/operational activities including anomaly detection/resolutionDevelop and execute capability roadmaps for assigned products
Key requirementsBachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalentActive Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance (or recently active)9+ years of related experience or PhD/masters+experience5+ years in radar theory/design or SIGINT technologiesWillingness to participate in business development and EVM processesleadership of technical teamscross-functional collaborationeffective communicationradar theory and designSAR systems and performance predictionsRFI mitigation techniques
