JB040 - Full-Time Nanny - Manhasset, NY
Manhattan Family Seeking NannyA warm and active Manhattan family is seeking an experienced, nurturing full-time live-out nanny to join their household beginning the first week of August, with a preference for a late July start if possible. The family is currently based in Manhattan and will be relocating to Manhasset, New York at the end of July or first week of August 2026. Both parents work full time, with the mother working from home on Thursdays and Fridays, making a nanny who is professional, self-directed, and respectful of household boundaries especially important. The family has three children: a 3-year-old daughter who is expected to begin preschool on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday full-day schedule with Tuesday and Thursday half days, an 11-month-old son turning one in June, and a third baby due in December 2026. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable engaging a toddler and caring for an infant, with the warmth, energy, and experience to grow alongside the family through an exciting period of change. This is a wonderful opportunity to become a long-term, trusted member of a loving household. When a second nanny is brought on following the arrival of the December baby, the candidate may have the option to reduce to 40 to 45 hours per week or remain at 52 hours, depending on preference and family need.ResponsibilitiesProvide attentive, nurturing care for a toddler and infant throughout the day, including all daily routines such as feeding, nap time, and age-appropriate activitiesTransport the 3-year-old daughter to and from preschool as needed once enrollment is confirmed; safe, reliable driving is requiredPlan and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities, outings, and enrichment for both childrenMaintain the children's schedules, routines, and daily rhythms with consistency and carePrepare healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks for the childrenPerform child-related household tasks including tidying play areas, managing children's laundry, and light organization of children's spacesCommunicate openly and proactively with both parents regarding the children's daily wellbeing, milestones, and any concernsAdapt seamlessly to the family's evolving needs as the household grows, including the anticipated arrival of a newborn in December 2026Manage all children's laundry including washing, folding, and putting awayQualificationsMinimum 3 to 5 years of professional nanny experience, including documented infant and toddler careExperience caring for multiple children simultaneously, ideally including infants under 12 monthsNewborn experience strongly preferred given the December 2026 due dateValid driver's license with a clean driving record; must be comfortable transporting children in a family-provided vehicleWarm, nurturing, and energetic disposition with a genuine love of child developmentStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple children's schedules and routines independentlyExcellent communicator who is professional and proactive with parentsComfortable working in suburban Manhasset home environmentRequirements5 years of private household or professional childcare experienceValid United States work authorizationStrong, verifiable professional referencesValid driver's license with clean driving recordMust be comfortable around a small dogFlexibility to occasionally travel with the familySalary and Benefits$40.00 per hour; overtime paid at 1.5xPTOSick DaysVacation DaysMonthly healthcare stipend to be discussed
