As a Manager, Process Engineering, you will be a key leader in coordinating, mentoring and directing the Hallam technology team in developing our process capabilities to take this disruptive technology and scaling it up to commercial scale.

You are a talented, hard-working, detail-oriented and proactive engineering leader who is willing to immerse yourself into a fast-moving environment to solve complex problems in a collaborative environment
You are experienced and understanding of the engineering principles and design considerations for chemical processes including - tanks, pumps, valves, motors, VFDs, heat exchangers, high temperature materials, boilers, instrumentation, and control systems
You are a problem-solver with proven problem-solving skills, understanding of and experience with root cause analysis techniques
You are safety-minded and can demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and conviction
You are Tech savvy and possess basic computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project) to analyze data and trends to report results
You are able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
You have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field and 5 years of work experience minimum (carbon black or equivalent particle processes experience highly preferred)
What you'll do in the role:
You will collaborate with key stakeholders in driving to achieve business goals while you work closely with core technology and product applications teams to coordinate with the operations team’s technology validation and commercialization while assuring process safety is well managed using MOC, PHA, and project controls
You will manage process and production engineers while providing key mentorships for all technical team members in practical efforts around carbon black manufacturing and technology
You will facilitate cross department collaboration with other teams so that operational objectives or improvement projects are identified and prioritized appropriately and executed successfully. Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
You will build our technological base by leveraging your team and the Monolith R&D teams to continuously improve and expand product capabilities

Office setting at our OC1 Plant in Hallam, NE with less than 25% travel required
