DescriptionBaylor University's Louise Herrington School of Nursing is currently seeking candidates for clinical track faculty positions to teach in the online Doctor of Nursing Practice program. We are actively recruiting new faculty with a strong commitment to the classroom and an equally strong commitment to utilizing nursing knowledge as we fulfill our mission and pursue Baylor's bold vision, Baylor in Deeds. In the U.S. News Best Nursing Schools rankings, the Doctor of Nursing Practice program in Baylor's Louise Herrington School of Nursing in Dallas jumped into the Top 50 nationally at No. 43.Baylor nursing's DNP program offers eight tracks, including Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse-Midwifery, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Executive Nurse Leadership and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the U.S. Army-Baylor Anesthesia Nursing (USAGPAN).The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is$ 5,000.00 - $ 6,000.00 per 3-hour Didactic courseQualificationsBoard of Nursing Required Faculty Qualifications:Each nurse faculty member shall: (A) hold a current license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse and national certification as an advanced practice registered nurse; (B) show evidence of teaching abilities and maintaining current knowledge, clinical expertise, and safety in subject area of teaching responsibility; (C) hold a MSN or DNP/PhD; (D) Nursing degrees must be from accredited institutions. (E) National board certification as an APRN.Minimum Experience:Must have 2 years of teaching and/or full-time APRN clinical experience within the last 5 years.Application InstructionsCandidates should submit a personal letter, a current curriculum vitae, official transcripts, and one letter of recommendation.
