Second Shift QC Technician II
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Second Shift QC Technician II for our Scientific partner in Fair Lawn, NJ.The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $25. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave (as required by law), other leave required by federal, state, or local law, and holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.**QC Technician II**The QC Technician II will make an impact by performing fit-for-purpose testing in accordance with standard operating procedures, supporting manufacturing through in-line and finished product release testing using various analytical techniques.**A Day in the Life:**· Perform fit-for-purpose testing following operating procedures to support manufacturing, including in-line and finished product release testing using various analytical techniques· Prepare standards and samples for analysis and operate instrumentation with minimal supervision, as needed· Document and report analytical testing data in LIMS and laboratory notebooks in accordance with good documentation practices· Assist with out-of-specification (OOS) investigations by performing relevant testing and properly documenting findings· Provide recommendations to optimize instrumentation methods and offer feedback on non-instrument-related process improvements· Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to support continuous improvement initiatives· Maintain general laboratory housekeeping· Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor**Keys to Success:****Education**· Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field from an accredited university required**Experience**· Minimum of 2 years of industry or relevant experience, preferably within the chemistry or biopharmaceutical industry· Hands-on experience with wet chemistry, basic analytical instrumentation, and chromatography preferred**Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**· Familiarity with analytical test methods including ACS, USP/NF, EP/BP, JP, and FCC strongly preferred· Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability· Experience reviewing laboratory notebooks and understanding analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation· Demonstrated problem-solving skills using Lean methodologies· Ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities**Pay Details:** $25.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
