Electrical Engineer

We are looking for Electrical Engineer Engineers to be responsible for all elements of development lifecycle for test. The candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development and will be responsible for helping to maintain the technical, cost and schedule aspects of their assigned projects.What You Will DoDesign, development, and integrate test products within Test Equipment Engineering in multidiscipline engineering teamsDevelop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysisContribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of assigned projectsAct, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test productsQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and three (3) years of relevant experienceThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Experience with electrical engineering design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and testExperience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools including but not limited to: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo SchematicExperience with commonly used test equipment including but not limited to: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power MetersExperience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematicsQualifications We PreferMaster of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standardAbility to provide technical leadership in a multidiscipline team environmentExperience performing analog, digital, and/or RF designExperience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnectExperience utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot softwareSelf-starter and able to manage workload to meet assigned deadlinesExperience working in a team environmentProficient technical writing and formal presentation experienceAbility to lead single- or multi-discipline teams of engineersProject management experienceBid and proposal experienceKnowledge of computer architecture and computer hardware optimization techniquesExperience with developing and implementing programming languagesUtilize existing designs as a starting point to interface with new units under test (UUTs) and UUT configurations when necessaryExperience with troubleshooting and root-cause analysisU.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements:Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
