It’s time to look at Taylor.Your OpportunityTaylor Corporation is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join the team in Dallas, TX.Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm with overtime as required (possible nights/weekends)Your ResponsibilitiesPerforms the physical and/or administrative duties involved in the functions pertaining to the shipping, handling, receiving, storing, counting, packaging and distributing of equipment, materials, merchandise, and similar itemsInspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods and enters into the inventory control systemPut away and manage raw and finished goods inventory in the warehousePull product from the warehouse to deliver to the production floorPick, wrap and pack products in boxes, cartons, and other containers prior to final packing for shipment and affixes identifying information to the packagesUse various shipping systems for FedEx, UPS, and USPSAdjust to a fast-paced and quickly changing environmentAssist in monthly inventory cycle countingMay operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goodsPerform other warehouse and shipping duties as neededAssembles orders and prepares goods for shipmentRecords shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availabilityReceives and unpacks materials and suppliesReports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposesCompletes shipping and receiving reports.You Must HaveBasic computer and math skillsAbility to work independently, problem-solving as neededAbility to operate or be trained on material handling equipmentAbility to be comfortable with heights up to 35'Requirements Within This PositionAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandMust be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 50+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)We Would Also PreferKnowledge of operations of material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucksAbout Taylor Corporationhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdXOC8HM-NMOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
