The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction, hands-on equipment operation experience, and demonstrated expertise with Trimble GPS and UTS systems. This role requires effective leadership, a deep understanding of INDOT regulations, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.Company Overview:Hoosier Pride Excavating, INC. is a locally owned bridge construction company serving east central Indiana. Our team takes pride in building durable structures that support the communities where we live and work.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate all on-site bridge construction activities from start to completionLead, mentor, and manage field crews, subcontractors, and operatorsEnsure compliance with all INDOT standards, specifications, and safety regulationsOperate and oversee the use of heavy equipment as neededUtilize Trimble GPS and UTS systems for layout, grading, and project accuracyMonitor project schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlinesConduct daily site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plansMaintain accurate project documentation, reports, and daily logsCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and inspectorsEnforce company safety policies and promote a culture of safety on the jobsiteQualifications:Minimum of 5+ years of experience in bridge construction, with supervisory responsibilitiesProven experience operating heavy construction equipmentProficiency with Trimble GPS systems and UTS (Universal Total Station) technologyStrong knowledge of INDOT standards and regulationsAbility to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specificationsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailValid driver’s license (CDL preferred)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with large-scale DOT bridge projectsOSHA 30 certificationBackground in heavy civil or highway constructionBenefits:Competitive salary based on experienceHealth insurancePaid time off and holidaysCompany vehicle or allowance (if applicable)How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and qualifications.Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement:Hoosier Pride Excavating, INC. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
