You will be tasked with building your own book of business, and you will be required to bring over clients from your current book of business as well. You will have full autonomy and not be micromanaged.This is an excellent opportunity for someone that has the ability to build real relationships, and is hungry to go out and land new HNW/UHNW worth clients.It is a non-negotiable requirement that you're able to bring over current client relationships. If you're unable to, please do not apply.*Base Salary can be a wide range 200-300K, but your Commission/Bonus can be structured and tailored to:1) Clients from your current book of business that you're bringing over (% of AUM)2) New clients you're able to bring in (% of AUM)*Note: Ultimately, if you're the right fit for this Firm, a calculated formula can be put together that encompasses Base Salary + Commissions.Role Overview:Our client is seeking a Client Relationship Portfolio Manager with 8+ years of experience advising high-net-worth or institutional clients and a proven ability to transition a book of business. This role centers on building deep, long-term relationships by understanding client goals, liquidity needs, cash flow requirements, and risk tolerance. Working closely with our internal research and investment teams, you will ensure portfolios are aligned with client objectives while delivering an exceptional advisory experience.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary advisor to clients, managing relationships and guiding them through liquidity, cash flow, and long-term planning needs.Develop tailored portfolio strategies that reflect client goals, time horizons, and risk profiles, leveraging firm-wide investment insights.Collaborate with internal research, trading, and compliance teams to ensure portfolios remain well-positioned and consistent with firm views.Proactively communicate with clients on performance, market developments, and strategy updates in a clear and consultative manner.Expand client relationships through your existing book of business and by identifying new opportunities within your network.Represent client interests within the firm, ensuring their needs shape portfolio construction and service delivery.Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and support the development of junior professionals.Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
