This entry-level, seasonal/temporary position works across various departments to support the delivery of guest service and operational excellenceThe Hospitality Summer Assistant will move through and around the hotel during each shift worked and may also stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.Duties may include the requirement to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print and communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. In the scope of work, the position may also require moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance; reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Doing all of these things well, and other reasonable job duties as requested, is critical for our Hospitality Summer Assistant to deliver the best service to our guests and our business at all times. Must be at least 16 years of age. In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of operations support duties as determined by the supervisor and may work outdoors, as needed. The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and complies with federal/state/local employment laws regarding hours of work. Schedules may fluctuate based on business demands and team members may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work and must carry out all reasonable requests by our hotel leadership team.
