Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Position Summary:We are hiring a full time Clinical Social Worker III (LCSW) to join our interdisciplinary team at Vida Guidance Center in the Bronx, NY. Vida is an Article-31 Mental Health Center serving families in the community. As an LCSW Therapist at Vida, you will conduct individual and group psychotherapy with adults and/or children and families. This is a hybrid position with 4 onsite days and 1 remote day.Minimum Qualifications:Master's Degree in Social Work required.NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Bilingual English and Spanish required.Familiarity with evidence-based modalities.2+ years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.Key Duties:Completes documentation in accordance with OMH regulations. Monitors treatment plans for patients.Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.Conducts individual psychotherapy to assigned group of patients.Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.Participates in clinical team meetings.Starting Compensation:Minimum $85,000 per year; Maximum $94,000 per yearWork Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:HYBRID based out of VIDA Guidance Center, Bronx, NY.
