Now Hiring: Stainless Steel Tig Welder Scott, LA Overview Are you an experienced Stainless Steel TIG Welder looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled welder/fabricator who takes pride in producing clean, precise welds and high-quality workmanship. This position is ideal for someone with strong fabrication experience and the ability to work independently from blueprints and drawings. Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on stainless steel materials, components, and assemblies Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols Fit, align, and assemble parts prior to welding Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications Grind, polish, and finish welds as needed Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years of stainless steel TIG welding experience preferred Previous fabrication experience required Experience welding thin-gauge and heavy-gauge stainless steel Experience with sanitary, structural, or custom fabrication projects preferred Ability to pass a TIG weld test Stable work history and strong attendance record High school diploma or equivalent preferred Required Skills Advanced TIG welding skills on stainless steel Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience with measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, and squares Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to troubleshoot fit-up and fabrication issues Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Weekly pay $5 prescription drugs $5 doctor's visit copays Free teledoctor service Free counseling services Life insurance included Vision insurance included Dental insurance included Vacation and holiday pay Scholarship Opportunities 401(k) retirement plan Free legal services Our unbeatable employee discount program
