Regional Director - Gulf Coast

Position OverviewThe Regional Director will oversee 10-15 hospitals across Mississippi and Louisiana reporting to the VP of Operations, and must live in the region they support. The role of the Director is to support the Hospital Administrators, Managers and Medical Directors to deliver quality care and meet their financial goals while creating a positive employee and client experience.The Regional Director is responsible for financial results in an area of Hospitals and Clinics generating $40 – $80MM in combined annual revenue.We require a hands-on approach to finding the best local solutions for our Pets, Clients and CommunityAt PetVet Care Centers, our mission is to improve the lives of animals and people — providing exceptional and compassionate care at every stage — for all the moments that matter.Because life is better with pets.We deliver the Ultimate Care Experience — every pet, every client, every time. We care for you.Key ResponsibilitiesAchieving plan revenue and managing controllable costsDeveloping service focused Doctor / Client communicationStaff development, engagement and retentionDoctor retention and recruitmentRegional acquisition onboarding support and facilitationLeading a team of 10-15 hospital managersWork with Hospital Managers and Medical Directors to develop behaviors which positively impact engagement, revenue and cost controlReview scheduling efficiency with managers regularly to adapt to the needs of the businessEnsure consistency and accuracy of pricing and inventory controlIdentify and prepare written plans for internal revenue building and marketing effortsWork with the Medical Directors to anticipate DVM needs and initiate recruitmentChallenge and coach Managers to handle personnel issues and develop an accountability culture.Review facility, equipment and inventory needs and discuss at weekly or biweekly intervalsOversee and participate in practice management updates and training at all levelsQualifications (Required)Four-year college degreeMulti-Unit management requiredCapability to work efficiently in an unstructured, fast-paced environmentStrong leadership abilityPreferred Skills (Nice to Have)Hospital management or business degree a plus2-5 years in Veterinary or Human Healthcare preferredWhat We OfferWe care deeply about supporting our team members — professionally and personally.
