Job Description: Operator I – Manufacturing
Location: Temecula, CA (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Shift: Multiple Shifts Available
Position Overview:
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Operator I candidates to join a leading medical device manufacturing team in Temecula, CA. This role is ideal for individuals with at least 6 months of manufacturing or production experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality products. Medical device experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
Perform assembly and production tasks following detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Operate within a manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
Use hand tools and microscopes to assemble and inspect products.
Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality specifications.
Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and manufacturing procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Accurately complete production documentation as required.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of manufacturing or production experience required
- Medical device manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
- Experience with microscopes is a plus
- Comfortable performing repetitive assembly tasks
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Experience using hand tools preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements
- Ability to bend, squat, twist, crawl, climb, push, and pull as needed
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must successfully pass a vision screening, including:
- Color vision test
- Close and distance vision assessment
- Depth perception and focus evaluation
