Outside Sales Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prospecting, selling, and maintaining relationships with customers in their assigned territory. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate the value of our products and services to potential customers, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, and in-person meetings
- Conduct product demos to showcase our software solutions and meet with decision-makers
- Manage and maintain a defined sales territory to ensure consistent sales performance
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
- Utilize Sales Genie to track and manage leads, customers, and sales opportunities
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to generate leads and support sales efforts
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
- Meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on growing revenue and expanding market share
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail sales, direct sales, or inside sales
- Strong product demo and presentation skills
- Experience in territory sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency with Sales Genie or similar CRM software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
- A strong drive to succeed and achieve sales goals
- Experience with software sales and the ability to understand and communicate the value of software solutions
- Ability to upsell and cross-sell products and services
- Experience in lead generation and prospecting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for frequent travel to customer sites
