Senior Manager, Compliance
The Senior Compliance Manager will be part of our Americas Compliance team and will work closely with colleagues across the United States and globally. This individual will develop deep subject-matter expertise on GLG and client compliance requirements and will serve as a key point of contact for complex questions from client- and expert-facing teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.In this senior, client-facing capacity, the individual will independently handle client interactions (depending on complexity), propose and drive solutions to sophisticated compliance issues, and cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with clients and business partners. The Senior Compliance Manager will also play an important role in developing policies, best practices, and internal workflows while helping shape and execute group-level target outcomes.This role includes leadership responsibilities across regional and global initiatives, including identifying workflow gaps, surfacing and mitigating potential risks, and taking ownership of specific components of global projects.Key Responsibilities Handle client calls independently, including complex inquiries Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key business stakeholders Propose and execute solutions for complex client or operational issues Identify workflow gaps, business needs, and potential risk areas Contribute to the development of policies, processes, and best practices Lead regional projects and own components of global initiatives Support the development and achievement of group-level OKRsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have Graduate or post-graduate degree with 8+ years of relevant experience (legal/compliance, financial services, or client-facing roles preferred). Strong ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder issues and deliver practical solutions with minimal supervision. Excellent client-facing, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail, especially in assessing nuanced compliance questions. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Highly reliable, professional, and able to maintain strict confidentiality. Proactive, self-motivated, and effective working independently or with global teams. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
